Tell Me No Lies (Follow Me Back #2) by A.V. Geiger (Review)

The second instalment in the Follow Me Back series, Tell Me No Lies continues the thrill tale of stalkers, murderers and love. After the events of book one, Eric Thorn and Tessa Hart are on the run from the press after faking Eric's murder at Tessa's hand. Fleeing across the border, they try to hid until things calm down back at home. Suspenseful, adventurous and romantic, Tell Me No Lies takes the readers on a star struck ride.
Tell Me No Lies didn't really hold up to the first book. More and more, the story felt mildly predictable and less intense then its predecessor. It was still very good, but compared to Follow Me Back it was almost boring. There was a special charm to most of the book taking place in Tessa's room, but in Tell Me No Lies, the story just hops from place to place to place. It was hard to get the same bearings on the environment and world the book was taking place in. Tessa and Eric were still pretty cute, although Tessa's mental illness had seemed to oddly disappear at times, which was quite strange. Her whole thing had been that she couldn't go outside, and now she seems to be able to go outside with minimal panic. Either way though, her story is very interesting. Ultimately, I enjoyed Tell Me No Lies and give it the rating of FOUR OUT OF FIVE STARS!!!
