Wind Rider (Tales of a New World #3) by P.C. Cast (Review)

The third instalment of the Tales of a New World series, Wind Rider continues the tale of good versus evil in a magical post-apocalyptic world were animals bond for life with their chosen human, and skin stealer attempt to take over the world as we know it. Mari and Nik are trying to survive and start their new pack off right, away from the train wreck that is the tribe of the trees and in a new safe place, the lands of the Wind Riders. Wind Riders are a tribe that bond with horses, and they are very territorial about their land. As Mari, Nik and their new pack approach the land of the Wind Riders, unbeknownst to the, Death and his Skin Stealer follow behind, wreaking havoc and evil on the lands they pass through.
It was fine. I honestly thought this was going to be the last instalment in the Tales of a New World series, so when I got to the end and found out there was more to come, I was really caught off guard. I was hoping for a conclusion to the series, mainly because it is so long. Each book is fairly large and take a bit longer then normal to read. I will continue this series, but I am growing a little tiered of it. I would like for it to come to a satisfying close sooner rather than later. Anyway, if you liked the series up to this point, you'll enjoy Wind Rider. If you didn't like the previous two books, this one is no going to be the one to turn it around for you. All in all, I give Wind Rider the rating of FOUR STARS OUT OF FIVE!!!
